I think the question was control vs. timing of toe touch.
I was pretty convinced he got that toe into the grass, less certain it touched after he had control of ball.
Both the toe touch and timing of control can be fairly debated. Hence, call should stand.

I don't think his touched the ground. It may hav skimmed the top of some grass, but it never touched down.

The point about extremely lucky is fair. Could have been called a catch and then indisputable goes the other way.
