My FIL has played an average of around 30 ish holes a day for 25+ years. He’s had hundreds of hours of personal coaching
I’ve never even golfed a full 18 holes and have only golfed maybe 6 times, total?
Nevertheless the two times I’ve played with my FIL, he’s beat me by 1-4 strokes. My brothers who golf more than I do golf with my FIL 2-3 times a year and almost always beat him despite them only playing 3-5 rounds a year.
