He talks about the benefit of being a generalist, not a specialist (like Tiger was at a young age), and goes on to say that maybe the Tiger model (of becoming a specialist) is important in golf, even if not in other domains. And he explains why golf is unique because of the predictable, repetitive movements involved.
But none of this speaks to whether *anyone* could acquire elite golf skills with sufficient time investment, which is our point above. Not everyone could do it.
