Its arrogance on BOTH sides...
The LA Times writes..

"Colleges don’t need the NCAA to keep playing sports and making hundreds of millions of dollars. The NCAA needs the colleges, and it particularly needs California’s enormous economy and massive TV market share to help fuel its money-making engine."

Most of the country could care less about California sports. The teams are mediocre, and the games are on late at night.


The NCAA says it will stop CA teams from being able to participate in championships.

First... Jokes on you NCAA. No CA team would even make it to the championship!

Second... Lots of people in CA (Media/writers/bloggers) want the Pac-12 to leave the NCAA. They think this will make the PAC-12 more powerfull and more relevant in the POWER race.
