OK, how about if you had a grocery store (perhaps someone could come up with
a better comparison). You had an awesome product that would bring people in. Even though you decided not to compete with other stores in making the product better, still your loyal customers would come in and buy it.

This allowed you to bring money in and keep the whole store open and make money. Would you close the store because some of your customers complained about what you were doing?

As long as 50-60K fans keep showing up and 10-20K fans at away games, the store will be kept open.
