attendance matters but it is way down the list...
So BYU should be put in a P5 because the fanbase procreates at 2.5x the national average and ~90% stay in Provo to sling alarms, vitamins and real estate?
Attendance is not a huge determining factor for conference alignment, obviously. If it were, BYU would be P5. Worth pointing out that the P5 conferences, as they exist today, were shuffled and assembled AFTER the LaVell era...when the cougs were last relevant.
