Pitchers are not drafted because of their ability to hit. They aren't trained
up in the minors and don't hit in the minors. They don't move up in the minors because of their ability to hit. They are not comparable to other positions because if this. I think the product is better with a DH than pitchers hitting

The only argument for pitchers hitting is because you want it to stay the way it has been. You'd rather have double switches more often than watch a guy like David Ortiz or Nelson Cruz hit 600 times a year?

I honestly don't care that much about the "disadvantage". I don't really see it as that personally. I just don't care to watch someone do something they aren't trained to do.
