I did not claim that. I claimed that younger fans care less about having
pitchers hit than older fans, and non baseball fans would be more interested in watching a league with a DH than watching pitcher hit. Are NL fans going to stop watching because they add a DH to the NL?
And any suggestion that the MLB is more popular because of the pitchers hitting is laughable. Its the young hitting stars hitting, and the young pitchers pitching that are attracting fans. Not the pitchers hitting.
