There are zero every down 4-3 defensive ends on the team

The coaches have to pick their poison between not being able to pass rush or not being able to stop the run. Going to the 3-4 and using El-Bakri as a big rush end has been more effective. The team has 4 capable NTs (Tonga, Fauatea, Mahe, and El-Bakri). There just isn't anyone on the outside, although a couple ends are starting to make progress.

Most of the Dline are players Sitake inherited. There are some interesting players in the pipeline that might make a difference, but I don't know if there's anyone that will play right away in 2020 to beat out all the seniors.
