Every year they're filling holes with guys who aren't highly rated for the most part. It's changing a little, but their history is full of a good eye for talent.
It's not like Utah is getting a sort of player that BYU is incapable of getting. They're from the same recruiting pool. Guys need to turn out, but BYU also needs to decide what the heck they're doing with that front.

They've got a real shot to get going in the future. Unfortunately some of them are years away, but some are closer. Batty has a chance to be really good and he's got a great frame. I'm really interested in seeing where Fevaleaki ends up after all that weight loss. His motor would be great at DE. We don't need him back up at 300. I'd love to see him right around where he is and play DE.
But that would mean we'll need DT's. Mahe will come along. Fauatea is still young. But they'll need some more guys inside.
