That misery loves company. This guy's post is spot-on. Many of us are stung with a 9 year losing streak to Utah and we see them now enjoying the fruits of a P5 conference and it hurts. We'd be okay if we were beating them but that is not happening. At least not in football. So, in our misery, we turn to a form of happiness, in seeing Utah lose and fail. But this guy is right. The bottom line is BYU has the biggest and most loyal fanbase in the state. And has had for years. Utah would love to have the true loyalty and size of our fan base. Most U fans are bangwagon fans. Not life timers. We are still the biggest program in the state in terms of fans and fan support. I believe this post. BYU will prove to be the better team this year in men's bball. And they very well may make the NCAA tournament. Our football team will likely end up 8 & 5 which is a lot better than many people guessed at the beginning of the season. Although we should have won games that we lost it could still be an overall better season than many expected. Is it possible for us to let the twisted form of happiness in seeing Utah fail, go? And can we truly focus on BYU Athletics? It's a higher level of fandom. But it's worth a shot. I for one am going to try.
