Too late. It sounds he is already spoiled if he would refuse to drive a used car
Obviously this is a reverse post, because I don't know of one 16 year old who would refuse to drive a used car that is given to him for Christmas.

Your kid is spoiled. My boy turned 16 a few months ago. We got him a used car and he was really grateful.
