Geez id have been grateful if my parents had gotten me a beater car!
If your son is too entitled to drive a used car....maybe he shouldn’t be getting a car. I’m even glad my parents never bought me one. That meant I had to work towards getting one and felt more accomplished that I had done the work myself to get it.

Your kid is spoiled. My boy turned 16 a few months ago. We got him a used car and he was really grateful.
