Your kid is spoiled. My boy turned 16 a few months ago. We got him a used car and he was really grateful.
I even offered him a brand new Accord and he refused and chose a used 2018 Audi A6. It is loaded, so the choice was easy for him, but I still wasn't sure he would choose correctly. Not only did he choose used, but he has great taste in cars.
