Also, it's fun to be proven right after watching in disbelief as idiot after idiot had Utah as a CFP candidate (including many on CB). They were a top 15 team beating up on arguably the worst P5 division out there. Pac 12 South is the ugly step child of the Pac 12 and the Pac 12 is the ugly step child of the P5. I'll also add that Utah's style of play and emphasis on trench warfare gives them an edge in Pac12 play, that is until they played USC/UW/Oregon and we saw how that turned out. UW was a close margin, they lost to USC, and got destroyed by Oregon.
"#1 defensive line in the country" lol ok. If Utah were in the Big10, they never would've been hyped the way they were. But that's football.
What makes it even more satisfying is that many in the media still think Utah is a top 5 program and just had an off night.
