I agree that as a BYU fan it seems a bit silly to talk smack about them losing to some other team that has nothing to do with BYU.

That aside - I'm not using the Oregon loss to talk smack with them. I'm just enjoying the fact that the fans around me have finally shut up about how the Rose Bowl makes a great consolation prize if for some reason they are passed over for the playoffs. Hearing them talk about who they'd rather face in a playoff since beating Washington a few weeks ago and assuming they were a shoo-in for the championship game and would walk all over Oregon got really old.

Apparently the rest of the team (and fans) needs to learn the same lesson Kaelin Clay had to learn a couple of years ago. Don't start the celebration until you're actually IN the endzone.
