Do you know what kind of experience the kid is looking to have?
If you recruited me and my brother, I'm the kind of guy who loves BYU and would do anything to be there. He's the kind of guy who would love to leave the state and have an experience away from home. If he was offered by both BYU and UVA, there is NOTHING BYU could do to get him to stay in Utah rather than go to UVA.
I have no idea what Gentry wants in his college experience - but it's hard to know if his recruitment was a fail if you don't know what he wanted and whether or not it was even something BYU could give him.
