Jay, don't be a quitter. Tom, Kalani, players, fans, don't give up. Don't accept mediocrity. 500 ball would never have been accepted up until recently. Mediocrity is a poison but it seeps in gradually. You become used to mediocrity. You lower your expectations. You adapt to losing and ultimately you become content with it. We are close to reaching that point.
This is the part that is most upsetting and frustrating to me following the current leadership of BYU football. For all the talk of thanking and loving the fans, their actions show little real concern for them. One thing that Byu has over Utah and virtually every other program is an unbelievably supportive Fanbase. BYU should harness that power. Please...someone within the BYU football program, whether that is President Samuelson, Tom Holmoe, or Kalani come out and say that 500 ball and mediocrity is not acceptable and to outline the steps that will be taken to move the program forward. Or we accept mediocrity and give up like Jay and many others.
