they let Tanner start half way through his senior year when it was obvious...
...he was no longer the same QB that we saw in 2015. We all saw it in 2017 with the Portland St game when he struggled to put points up vs a winless D-1AA program. You could see mentally he just didn't have it. PSU gave up 59 pts to Idaho St that year but Tanner struggled to get 20.
