Wilson is way more confident
Than his play shows he should be. It’s clear Zach has always had a lot of accolades thrown at him his young life. High School-which he may have richly deserved- but way too much in college so far.

He has lot of upside skills and competitive fire but so far he’s been a liability on the field—net net imo.

He’s just not good enough to deliver wins by himself. He all too often keeps the ball on RPO when he should have handed off. Just thinks he’s back in high school in terms of taking matters in his own hands. A lot of the late game interceptions were thrown into multiple coverage, rather than throwing it away. I have no faith in him making the clutch plays/decisions down the stretch from what I have seen so far. Utah 2019 game was perfect example of what I am referring to.

Call it “hero” ball or whatever. Big question in my mind that our staff have even the slightest expertise or discipline to coach this tendency out of him.

Sad if he never becomes the winner he has the other requisite skills to be.
