We did it and I like the feeling of being debt free. Am I going to regret
not investing that money? Not sure, I will let you know in 20 years when I retire.
As Dave Ramsay says, “if your house was paid off would you take a mortgage on your equity to make investments?” Most people say no (me included) so that was my answer anyway.
