So if 64 schools voiced opposition the other 1100 would follow?
And why would the P5 conferences care if AAC was granted autonomy.
The P5 are P5 because history And thus society favors them as P5. Granting AAC or MAC autonomy doesn’t give them access to P5 resources automatically. It doesn’t change the make up of NY6 or CFP.
My guess is AAC could get it passed and then it changes zero public perception. Does them no good other than removing them from the guaranteed spot.
