Have you had residual problems?
I had a professor at BYU (also helped him learn to tie flies) who had the experience you did when he was 14 (I think), but it wasn’t 1/2” away. Hit his spine and paralyzed him.
He’s an awesome man and Paralympic champion, but these stories prove that these rules aren’t just guidelines.
