Thanks for sharing this. I have two kids on the autism spectrum (daughter, age 11; son age 5) and my wife and I worry about this same kind of stuff every day. Both of our ASD kids are high-functioning but each still has many struggles most days. Our daughter has also been diagnosed with severe depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
I don't say much on here, but I just wanted to send some support and validation that yes, parenting is hard. And autism parenting is also hard. All we can do is the best we can everyday even when it seems like too much to bear.
