No, it's not the same, not even close.

Also, let's get it straight. There is a difference between single payer and socialized medicine. Even Bernie, who i don't support, doesn't want socialized medicine. He wants single payer. England has socialized medicine where the doctors are government employees. Medicare for all does not do that.
