Since we are talking anecdotally, my brother lives in Spain
and has a daughter with Type 1 Diabetes. Even as non-citizen expats, they rave about the quality of care she gets.

With a little data to back it up, this data ranks Spain as the 8th best system in the world, with the US at 37.

Spain also spends about a third of what we do in the U.S. per capita.

So I'm not ready to jump on board with your argument. We do terribly in the U.S. relative to how much is spent.
