Best answer is not to put people in the icu. Case fatality is uncertain but
reports suggest that icu patients with covid have a less than 50% chance of survival. So jacking up the number of icu beds isn’t the smartest way to go. Not to mention it’s super expensive. And people have complained for ages how expensive healthcare is. Now you suggest we add Bajillions to the most expensive part of healthcare?
