It is difficult for me and I have a question or two regarding your theory
If God cares not for our troubles on this Earth, why do so many pray for Gods help in times of distress and why do so many of those people feel those prayers were answered?
Why do religious leaders ask us to pray that certain problems will get better, people will get better, etc. if they don’t believe it?
Do you feel that people, who are having a miserable existence, should be told that God is only concerned with the afterlife and praying is a waste of time?
