It isn't being used enough in the outpatient setting to have the kind of powerful anecdotal evidence you're talking
about. It's also too early in the inpatient setting where it is being more widely used but usually as some sort of study done by the hospital. I suppose if it had some sort of dramatic almost miraculous benefit then we'd be hearing from those icu doctors using it. So far we're not hearing that.

You are grossly overestimating the number of doctors that believe it works. Most hope it will or believe it might.
