As for PCR testing, if we had the ability to just test every rando that walks in the door I think they’d do it. But with limited resources you need use the resources where they’ll do the most good.

Once serological testing is ready for prime time, they will triage testing for that too.

Here’s my recommendation for order of testing:

1. College basketball players, coaches, officials. This way we get the most important part of life back.

2. Healthcare workers. If 30% are immune from covid you just saved 30% of PPE.

3. Teachers and schoolworkers. You can’t get people back to work if the kids are all home without care.

4. School kids. Once you’re immune you go back to school.

5. Critical infrastructure workers.

6. Working public.

7. Old folks.
