Or does he realize his arguments on a random message board serve only to vindicate people not taking proper precaution and refusing to distance?

That’s the real question. Do you think his data is more reliable than all the scientists and professionals around the world? Do you think he alone knows this stuff?

I get the good data good decisions thing. Are you suggesting that you and I should make different decisions than what is being recommended based of of some guy on an internet board? Really?
