More than 1000 people are dying per day. That’s bad.
Saying that the world taking extreme precautions is dumb because we didn’t hit some projected number is ludicrous. It should be celebrated that the measures are working rather than angry we are taking them.
I get it. It sucks. The economy is in trouble. This can’t last forever. It needs to get back to normal some time soon. But we can’t pretend 1000 people per day isn’t significant. And that is with the extreme measures. Can’t imagine what the numbers look like without them.
Totally agree we need to get the world back on track soon but there’s a fight going on against something that is attacking the whole world. Let’s just do our part and get back to normal as soon as it makes sense to do so.

My thought is that as people start coming out of isolation, some of them will now be susceptible and catch it.
