The Dude Abides The royal we.
I’m far from a doom and gloom guy and I hate the posts that
say we’ll be at 50,000 deaths per day in a few weeks. I hate the extreme on both sides because it’s clear we’ve got a problem on our hands and those that act like it’s silly that we are taking extreme measures to beat it are fooling themselves. Without the measures the world is going to, it’s clear deaths would be much higher and hospitals would obviously have a really hard time handling it all. It’s obvious.

But equally annoying are the people who say simply because of math, millions will die in a month or two. They are ignoring the fact measures are being taken and what we are doing is reducing the actual numbers. I think it’s good to be aware of the problem, do our part to help, but also not overreact by spreading fear and panic.
