Went to my junior prom in Georgia. There weren't any LDS girls in my high school so I had to find someone to date and take from pretty far away. My best friend had an idea for someone to set me up with to take to prom.. She lived about an hour and a 1/2 away on the other side of Atlantis. So I drove from Peachtree City up to Dunwoody maybe it was Marietta and went to a dance to mat her.

While I was waiting for my best friend is show up and introduce me to this girl a girl came up and asked me to dance. It was my brother's very 1st dance with me in he didnt know anybody at at this regional dance and I didn't feel comfortable leaving him so I hesitated at 1st but went ahead,.

So right as i escorted this girl off and finoshed the dance with this girl my best friend shows up and comes up to me and asks so what did you think of Heather?

I had no idea that the girl that I was just dancing with was the girl that she wanted me to set up and I thought she was pretty nice so I said so I said Hey she's pretty nice.
So my best friend slapped me and said only you could say "miss teen USA is pretty nice "

Anyway i ended up asking this girl to my junior prom. I double dated with a friend and we went to a very upscale restaurant called the Sundial.

I was nervous because my high school had a massive huge competition of who to bring for prom and how to out do each other for prom yada yada yada Plus she was miss teen USA!!

The meal was served in courses and during the cocktail shrimp they brought out different sauces for a shrimp...
One of the sauces was this weird Lemon water sauce. I was dipping my shrimp in that sauce and talking about how yummy it was Until my friends date across the table said you know that's just the finger bowl right?
🤣🤣🤣😂I couldn't have been more embarrassed,but it still tasted good!
