I was in my mid-thirties, in the post-divorce dating world
It was a third date with a girl. She liked me enough to invite me over to her condo for a home-cooked meal.

After eating and talking for a while we went over to her sofa to sit down and watch a movie (one of the Sherlock Holmes movies). We settled down to watch with a blanket and I put my arm around her. It was going pretty well.

Well, earlier that day I gone waterskiing with my family and being in the sun for several hours had left me a little tired. Plus her thermostat seemed to be set pretty high, not to mention that it was pretty comfy on that sofa under her blanket. Next thing I knew the movie was over. I had completely fallen asleep.

She was very unimpressed with my game, and rightfully so.

I did met my wife about six months later, so it all worked out good. I couldn't have imagined falling asleep on an early date with my wife. I guess I just wasn't really attracted to that other girl.
