Have tried it due to the nature of traditional BBQ techniques. I think it’s great, I love the convenience of my pellet smoker and have cooked many things that I prefer over other BBQ done with more traditional stick burners. The smoke isn’t all that matters with good BBQ nor is the way you generate that smoke and temperature. There is so much more to good BBQ than what you decide to cook it in, and thanks to electric and pellet smokers so many more people are trying their hand to hone in on what they consider great tasting home made food.
