Maybe you can help me understand why the 70s and 2000's were worse
Than the 80's and 90's. Because I grew up in the 80's and 90's and I remember epidemics, police brutality toward minorities sparking riots, wars being used to protect oil and corporate profits, organized crime rings being ties to politicians, political bombings, school shootings, etc, etc... What specifically happened in the 70's or 2000's that made them worse?

Same could be said of the 80s, so growing up in both the 80s and 90s was an excellent double whammy of awesomeness.
