It was only a few years ago we were 62, and the other colleges around that range like Washington and Purdue are still there. BYU isn’t too far off from the likes of Utah and Auburn now. BYU students certainly don’t deserve to be lumped in with them. Get it together administrators and make an effort to give BYU students the reputation and education they deserve. These rankings matter and our students have only become better but the main problem at BYU was never the students. When I was there we had an overly arrogant administration and staff. The students at BYU are why the school has/had a good reputation. The administration has lacked vision and awareness for years. Their attitude was the students should be grateful to be there, when in reality BYU should be grateful it attracts the students it does with such a subpar administration and staff. We should have had the goal to move up 18 spots. There’s no excuse for dropping 18 spots. Admin needs to pull their heads out of the sand.
