In some ways it is, and in some ways it isn’t. Tons of ranking systems have the

u ahead of the Y, and some way ahead of the Y. And the gap in then rankings that BYU fans traditionally hang their hats on has almost disappeared. Heck, Utah’s acceptance rate is now lower than BYU’s.

The bottom line is that they are both excellent schools.
