I think the question is not what’s to gain for Army, but what’s changed for them
If they see what type of team BYU is now and they are just not interested in that type of test that late around their run for their CIC trophy, then fine. Nothing we can do about that. It says more about them than us. But Army is a good team. I have to think that they have pride and ambition this year and see themselves making some serious noise. Getting a shot at knocking off a highly ranked BYU team at home should be plenty of motivation. Their coach Monken has high goals for that program and I think he is the kind of guy who wants the smoke.
