My thought is this is a 1983 year. They will never take us in the CFP and most
likely pass us over in the NY6 too. But if we go undefeated this season and then repeat it next year we could almost guarantee at least a NY6. To ever get into the CFP there will have to be a whole lot of teams lose multiple games (we could have 3 undefeated not counting BYU but the next SEC teams in line need probably 3 losses (2 if one of them is a "bad" loss) and all the rest of the conferences have their champ and the rest (Big12 and Pac) with at least 2 losses. I wouldn't worry about the AAC nor the MWC. BYU gets invited to the CFP ahead of those teams.
