2017 was awful and I wanted Kalani fired at the end of it, but he has come a long way since then. 2017 was a product of both bad coaching and bad recruiting by Bronco (take a look at the recruiting classes that should have been upperclassmen in 2017 and you'll see what I'm talking about).
Fortunately, Kalani has made some great changes in the program that appear to be paying dividends. Of course, he'll have to keep winning to prove his worth just like every other coach.
