This team is really different than last years, and yet it is a solid team

Last year's team was an all-time great team, or at least they were looking that way until the NCAA tourney was cancelled. The fact that we're having a debate over the two is fantastic; this year's team is much better than I thought we'd be.

But I think you're downplaying how good last year's team was.
