I just saw that SMC just got their first win of the conference
and it was a tight one against LMU. LMU!!!
This Saint Mary's is historically bad by Randy Bennett's standards.
They might not even be the 6th best team in the conference. Clearly Gonzaga BYU Pacific USF are better. Pepperdine just beat Pacific so they have a case of being better than Saint Mary's, and Santa Clara already beat Saint Mary's on the road.
Kudos for Randy Bennett for getting these guys up to play, because man their roster is terrible.
When Tommy Kuhse is your best player you have problems.
This is not the same Saint Mary's that we're accustomed to seeing in the WCC.
I'm sorry if we lose to Saint Mary's this year, we should be worried about getting an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament because I don't think we deserve one at that point.
