Answer is: DEFENSE and depth

Last years team won by outscoring the opponent to win. This years team plays great defense and rebounds. Also goes about 10 deep which wears on opponents the last 10 min of game. Not as pretty as last years team but it works. Credit to Pope and coaching staff for having success with completely different approach this year.
