This reminds me of the old George Carlin (I think) joke:
Did you ever notice how anyone driving slower than you is a moron? and anyone driving faster than you is an idiot?
In your mind, the morons drive 65, you drive 70, and the idiots drive 75. To the guy driving 75, you are the moron, and the guy doing 80 is an idiot. And so on.

People dont refer to it as the “left lane”. They call it the “fast lane” which should be grounds for losing your license
