I think he clearly stated that he is enjoying the benefits.
He was also suggesting that irresponsible drivers should feel free to enjoy the perceived benefits of the passing lane and to let law abiding people use the HOV lane without being bullied.

People dont refer to it as the “left lane”. They call it the “fast lane” which should be grounds for losing your license
