Yea with the fact races are pretty much non existent right now I've gone almost
100% to weight training.

While it's a game of give and take I've always found stronger legs will always give better overall returns on the tri side.

Check out Nick Bare, he has somehow mastered the ability to maintain gains while training at a very high level for marathon and tri.
