He had somebody perform some type of massage on it...

Then, he applied some ointment and left it in a bandage for days at a time without giving the wound access to air. This apparently caused an infection (the photo made it obvious that the wound got worse and was a festering cauldron of bloody pus; sorry for the graphic description).

Not positive, but shouldn't he have been the one to deal with your workers comp
