happens, but this can create an attitude of looking to the ref for a call and it hurts a player if the "bad ref" attitude carries over into games.
Baylor's style of play in basketball appears to be partially a result of practices where Drew doesn't call fouls. It may not be fair at times, but generally speaking his players aren't looking at the refs asking for calls and they are generally the more aggressive team.
